Since lockdown we’ve been working closely with our clients to change the way we deliver sampling campaigns. As we’ve re-started our face-to-face marketing campaigns we‘ve had to make several changes to ensure our promotional staff, consumers and our partner venue’s staff are all kept safe.
Some of the measures we’ve put in place are:
- PPE kit for staff
- Equipment to allow for social distancing sampling and consumer interaction
- Cleaning kit and training in health & safety for all staff
- Temperature testing for staff before each shift and immediate isolation if any symptoms arise
This is especially important for retail point of purchase sampling campaigns which are often based indoors.
While we always look to increase the reach of campaigns, we have had to move some of the locations of our roaming sampling in high streets to ensure our teams do not overcrowd public areas. We’ve also introduced flexible scheduling which involves moving our Hitsquad sampling teams to alternative locations if an area becomes subject to lockdown measures at short notice.
We’re always looking for ways to maximise and improve our campaigns. Together with the hard work of our Promotional Staff, Event Managers and sampling teams we have managed to work within the new government guidelines to ensure successful delivery of COVID secure product sampling for several of our clients.
